Use Article Writing and Article Directories Advantage

Wednesday, August 25th, 2010

You may even want to consider creating your own list of 5 to 10 of your favorite directories and submit to them. Rewriting your article a little each time you submit it has become a good idea. There is so much emphasis being placed on duplicate content that there really is no reason to chance losing the value of an article because you submit the same one over and over to several different directories.

Another important point is how you submit you article. Article directories are very easy to get along with if you play by their rules. They want to publish your articles, especially if you write with a fresh, unique style and provide content that is timely.

If you use private label right articles you need to spend some time and rewrite those as well. Although PLR articles may only be used by a few hundred publishers a month it still is not unique content. To make it unique consider changing the primary keyword and other keywords accordingly. You can re-order anything written in a list style. It is a good idea to change phrases.

When you are done you want to see and article that does not resemble the one you started with. This will include changing the title and making sure your first and last paragraph are different for sure.

An even better idea is to use PLR articles for ideas and then write and article in your own style. This does not mean rewrite the article at all. You are writing an original article in your words and it ends up being a brand new fresh article that you can be completely confident will never be considered duplicate content.

Marketing your business by writing and submitting articles is a great way to build credibility and to drive traffic to your website or blog. As long as you write a quality article you will get readers for it if you submit your article to the right places. This means finding the best article directories and submitting it to those. Let’s look closer at how to use your articles and article directories to your benefit.

There are literally thousands of article directories, but that does not mean you will get much benefit from many of those. Submitting to article directories that have a PR3 or higher is a good place to start. Use this as the cut off and you will increase your link popularity and increase the popularity of your website in the eyes of the search engines.

Do It Now and Succeed

Saturday, August 21st, 2010

It has been proven that a habit is formed by doing something for 21 days in a row. Successful habits are formed the same way and oneof life’s simplest solutions to reaching your goals and your desired life can be summed up in three simple words “Do it Now”. If you are heavily active in goal achievement programs, running a business or running your life, you will hear often that to truly make change you need to take action. So if it was that simple, why is that so many still are hanging around in their meager existence and not taking action to really change their lives? What are the secrets to developing a Can Do and a Do It Now attitude? Here are three secrets to developing a “Do it now” attitude and if you try these for 21 days, you will find yourself changing your behaviors.

Secret #1: Make Fear Your Friend, Not Your Master

Fear can be a powerful motivator if you can learn to manage it but many allow fear to limit their opportunities and possibilities. Most times it is fear of the unknown, fear of failure or fear of loss. These can be powerful emotions that often have no basis but if you can open you mind to possibilities and push through your fears, you will realize all of your dreams. Fear is the number one reason people do not take action to realize thier dreams. Make fear your friend and manage it rather than your fear managing you.

Secret #2: Embrace the Power of Positive Thinking

A positive attitude is a result of positive thinking. Each of us has a choice to embrace this concept rather than dwell in the negative. It is much easier to blame, find fault or discourage than it is to change a potentially negative situation to a positive one. But there is positive in everything, if only to be a learning experience. Embrace the power of positive thinking and watch yourself soar to your goals.

Secret # 3: Create a Sense of Urgency

Unfortunately, many of us live our lives under the old adage “why do today what can be put off until tomorrow” rather than creating a focus and a sense of urgency to complete a task to today. We have turned into a society of procrastinators rather than doers. Successful people act today and do not wait until tomorrow. They are master implementers always taking action and always moving towards their goals. Create a sense of urgency and strive to do what you need to do today, not tomorrow. When in doubt and you find yourself asking the question, “when should I do …… (fill in the blank), the answer is simple: NOW.

The secrets to a do it now attitude are simple to apply. When you want to succeed at anything, you must master fear so opportunities can present themselves. You must have a healthy mind and focus on the positive in things versus dwelling on the negative and you must have a sense of urgency to want to get things done now. Do not wait until tomorrow. Implement today!

When would be a good time to implement a new idea, an idea that could very well change your life? That’s simple isn’t it, right now — today!

Two Peanut Butter Cookie Recipes

Saturday, August 21st, 2010

One of the best things you can do on a cold winter day is get in the kitchen and bake.  Baking warms the house, the aromas are enticing and your family will love you when they come in from the cold.  These peanut butter cookie recipes are perfect for lunchboxes, milk and cookies after school, snacking while playing board games or watching TV.  They also make great gifts and wonderful treats to share with co-workers and friends.  If you are partial to cinnamon, give Val’s Peanut Butter Cinnamon cookies a try.  For the true peanut butter fanatic, there are Double Delight Peanut Butter Cookies.  They also have some cinnamon. These cookies are fun to make and use a roll of refrigerated peanut butter cookie dough.  Both of these recipes are from my vintage recipe collection.

DOUBLE DELIGHT PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES

This recipe was cut from an old magazine.

1/4 cup dry roasted peanuts, chopped finely

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 roll (approx. 16 oz) refrigerated peanut butter cookie dough

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

In a small bowl, mix peanuts, granulated sugar and cinnamon. Set bowl aside. In a second small bowl, stir together the peanut butter and powdered sugar until completely well blended. Shape mixture into 24 balls. Cut the roll of cookie dough into 12 even sized slices. Cut each slice in half crosswise and flatten slightly. Shape one piece of the cookie dough slices completely around one of the 24 balls you made. Cover the ball completely. Roll each covered ball in the peanut, sugar, cinnamon mixture. Gently pat the mixture completely onto the balls. On an ungreased cookie sheets, place the balls 2-inches apart. Grease the bottom of a small drinking glass and place into remaining peanut mixture. With the bottom of the glass flatten each cookie. Sprinkle any remaining peanut mixture on the tops of the cookies and press in lightly. Bake for 7 to 12 minutes at 375 degrees or until the edges are golden brown.
